Over these past years, while serving communities such as Charlotte, Hickory, Concord, Greensboro, Rock Hill, Salisbury, Gastonia, Spartanburg, Greenville and Asheville, North Carolina, we have built many lasting relationships with our customer base.
Rodger is a native of the Tidewater Virginia area. Rodger’s work ethic, which is apparent in all he does in the insurance and financial area today, may be linked to his childhood. He grew up on a 1400-acre grain and livestock farm where he learned to work hard, understand the value of a dollar and appreciate the gifts of the outdoors. Rodger will amusingly tell you that after receiving many A’s and B’s in high school, he found himself in the path of many F’s….

.…Florida: Rodger left his home state of Virginia in 1977 to obtain a degree in business at Florida State University,
….Financial Services: In 1982 he found a career in the financial services industry after college and has now been serving the communities for more than 32 years. Over the years of building relationships and solving problems, he has earned a very loyal following of satisfied customers.
….Father of two: Rodger has a son, CJ, and a daughter, Danielle, who have blessed him with 5 grandchildren, (Gracie, Stone, Jordyn, Sydney and Morgan).
As is apparent with Rodger’s description of himself, he has a creative, adventuresome flair and quite a love of life. He is a music enthusiast; loves to dance; thoroughly enjoys driving his mini-Cooper; and motorcycle touring ventures. One of his best-kept secrets is that Rodger is known for his great Elvis impersonation.
Rodger and his wife, Darlene, enjoy living in their mountain lake community where they can be found in the outdoors boating, mountain biking and four wheeling. Fitting with their love of the mountain area, Darlene is an entrepreneur who designs and constructs log homes for her clients at Bears Den Log Homes.
When you sit down with Rodger for an appointment, he will take the time and ask you plenty of questions to find out where you are today ….. And…..Where you want to be tomorrow. After evaluating your answers, he will strategically choose tools and ideas to aide you to achieving your goals in a predictable and timely manner.
